Welcome to West Wight Alpacas The Islands Premier Suri Alpaca Breeder

We are a small family business run by Michelle Payne with help from her husband Neil and her children Steven and Katie. Michelle deals with the day to day running of the farm and is the face that you will see when you visit us.

West Wight Alpacas is a new venture for us as a family and is a complete lifestyle change for Michelle who has sold her share in a local letting agency business. We will be regularly updating the website and our blog sharing the experience of our animals arriving on the Island for the first time and setting up the Alpaca farm in the West Wight.

Our main business will be breeding high quality Alpacas for their fleece and for showing. We will be breeding and selling both mature and young Alpacas known as Cria. In addition, we offer Alpaca Treks over the stunning West Wight downland, farm visits, adopt an Alpaca packages and also Alpaca products. Look out for the opening of our alpaca shop later in the year that will sell products from our own herd and from Peru, the home of the Alpaca.
